New Leadership: The Future of Helsby FC Begins Now
Helsby FC is proud to announce a major restructure of our Board of Directors. These changes took effect on January 1st, 2025. This new team brings fresh energy and professional experience to the club.
Executive Appointments
We are delighted to welcome our new leadership duo:

Des Williams (Chairman): Des has vast experience in sports management. He has worked in both grassroots football and international basketball. He has strong ties with professional clubs across Europe.

Paul Nicholls (Vice-Chairman): A true club stalwart, Paul adds this new role to his duties as Club Secretary. His hard work has kept the club running through many difficult years.
Specialized Directorships
To ensure growth in every area, we have appointed new directors for our key sections:

Women’s Football: Justin Campbell joins as Director. Kelly Campbell becomes Women’s Secretary and General Manager.

Youth Football: John Taylor joins as Youth Football Director. He will focus on elite player development.

Non-Executive Director: Alun Owen, owner of Digital4Trades, joins the board to provide strategic business advice.
