Founded in 1895, Helsby FC, originally known as Helsby Town, is one of the oldest amateur football clubs in Cheshire. Currently, Helsby FC fields two men’s teams (Firsts and Reserves) in the West Cheshire A.F. League, a youth team, and several junior and girls’ teams competing in various local leagues. Helsby FC’s rich history and continued success make it a cornerstone of the local community, fostering a love for football across all age groups.
We are looking for passionate, target-driven individuals who are eager to shape the future of our club and help us grow to the next level. Join us in one of the following key roles:
Director of Football
Key Responsibilities:
- Player Recruitment and Transfers: Identify and recruit players to enhance team performance. Manage scouting, negotiate transfers, and oversee player contracts.
- Team Strategy: Collaborate with coaching staff to develop and implement the team’s playing style and tactical philosophy. Ensure consistency across all levels of the club.
- Long-term Planning: Oversee the club’s medium and long-term strategies to ensure sustainable success.
- Support for Coaching Staff: Handle administrative and strategic tasks, allowing the head coach to focus on coaching and match preparation.
Requirements:
- UEFA B Licence.
- Experience in player recruitment and team strategy.
- Strong networking and negotiation skills.
- Passion for football and community engagement
Marketing Director
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Execute Marketing Strategies: Enhance the club’s brand and visibility. Manage social media and promotional campaigns.
Requirements:
- Experience in marketing, preferably in sports.
- Creative thinking and strong communication skills.
- Ability to engage with the local community
