This Is Grassroots

Our emphasis at Helsby FC is to provide football to players of all ages and abilities in a safe, enjoyable and friendly environment. We embrace diversity and inclusion, and aim to establish enduring relationships with our participants, volunteers and commercial partners.

We are proud to be an England Football Accredited Club, our 18th consecutive year of holding this certification (which was formerly FA Charter Standard). This forms the cornerstone of how we operate.

As a club which continues to grow, we are always on the look-out for volunteers, who are the heartbeat of the club. This can be in a coaching capacity, but there are many other roles which can be undertaken, including administration and fundraising. If you are interested in getting involved, Even in a limited capacity, we’d love to hear from you!
